The author of this editorial believes there's a great need for federal disaster relief in Texas because of the raging wildfires. Many houses are being destroyed and families are suffering. Some people are claiming that lack of federal help is because the Obama administration doesn't see any political gain from helping Texas, a state firmly in opposition to the president.
